Béjart Ballet Lausanne is the ballet company of the late Maurice Béjart (1927-2007) with which, from 1987, the famous French choreographer continued the work of his legendary Brussels-based Ballet of the 20th Century. Today the company is run by Gil Roman – Béjart’s student and a former soloist of the Ballet of the 20th Century. The dancers from Lausanne continue to win the hearts of audiences all over the world with ballet programmes composed of the great master’s most valuable works.
