   A Gala Concert celebrating the 200th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's birth will be held at the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera on 1 March 2010. Public interest in this event has already exceeded our most daring expectations. The number of institutions and private individuals who have declared a wish to take part in this prestigious concert is huge. We will do our best to make this possible.

   That is why we would like to inform you that due to the exceptional nature of this event, and to make it accessible to the widest possible audience, we have decided to have a live broadcast of the concert in our theatre's Redutowe Rooms.

   As of 1 February 2010, the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera box office is selling tickets to the Redutowe Rooms (PLN 30.00).
