EUROPEAN NETWORK OF OPERA ACADEMIES

ENOA is a platform founded by professional artistic and cultural organisations working in the field of opera.

ENOA’s aim is to train young professionals (singers, composers, stage directors, librettists, conductors, pianists...) and help bridge the gap between studies and professional work, by:

  • organising workshops (master classes and tuitions)

  • facilitating mobility for artists and teachers

  • encouraging opera productions and commissions of new operas

  • initiating co-commissions and co-productions and their dissemination with the main focus on participation of young artists

  • encouraging the creation and development of opera academies

ENOA’s programme aspires to develop opera training through the extension of cultural cooperation between opera academies, festivals, theatres and artists, and to develop synergies at Europe-wide level thanks to mutual exchange of experiences.

ENOA has launched its workshops programme targeting young artists in 2010.
From 2011 and on, about 15 workshops a year will be organised. If you are interested in one of these workshops, contact us.
